Emerging technologies in the areas of the cloud, big data, mobility, social computing, and natural user interfaces (NUI) present new opportunities for companies to rethink processes, deliver new customer experiences, and gain competitive advantage.  The NUI based applications that are being developed for education, healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, and many other industries, have the potential to revolutionize products and processes.

In February 2012, Microsoft released Kinect for Windows SDK that allows any application to leverage the power of Kinect.  We also launched the Microsoft Accelerator for Kinect program, designed to foster a new generation of businesses.
