Slides from ESC Boston now available online.

Olivier Bloch has just posted all of the session slides from ESC Boston online – here’s the blog post and session listing.

Here are the two sessions I presented:

Develop the next generation of Windows Embedded CE applications using Visual Studio and .Net or native code
This demo heavy breakout session walks you through and compare the process of writing a simple application using Win32, MFC and C# (Managed) for Windows Embedded CE 6.0.

Building connected and distributed systems using Windows Embedded
This session focuses on the underlying technologies and programming models used to allow devices to discover each other and exchange information.

Hi Mike, I can't seem to open the ESCECE202_WinCE_Application_Development_Mikehall.ppsx presentation. I tried downloading PowerPoint viewer 2007, and it fails to open it as well saying it can't open the file. Is it a problem with my computer? Thanks, Shai

There is a problem with the Powerpoint slides and their DRM protection.  It looks like it's trying to authenticate against corprights.microsoft.com.  However, as another user pointed out, it's unclear how to get an account to view the slides.

In cue to the above posts, I created a microsoft passport live id. But seems like my passport id does not have the access to corprights.microsoft.com server. Hoping to get the slides for free download soon!!! ~Sayen

The web team are working on the issue - I will post an update once the slides are available for download in a format that doesn't require DRM.
