I thought you might like to read the interview on Slashdot with Martin Taylor, Microsoft's general manager of platform strategy – Slashdot asked readers to submit their questions, the pick of the crop were discussed on a phone call with Martin – there’s even an mp3 file of the phone conversation.

    It was good interview, but slashdot really did not beat MS's Channel 9 here.. Come on, 8 Kbit/8 Khz mp3 of a phone interview, where it is essential to get the tones of the voices to determine what's being said jokingly. Now some people who only read the text version got that the interviewer was being hostile. I think the interviewer was a bit ignorant (popup blocker/firefox) but not exactly hostile.

    Would have been more appropriate to fly the Slashdot guy to Redmond and publish the interview on both slashdot and channel9 in multiple video formats.
