IE8/Firefox – Bing as your Search Provider…
With Bing just released, I am sure you have already added Bing as your Search Provider in your Firefox/IE browser. If you haven’t I strongly recommend it.
It’s really simple!
If you are running Internet Explorer:
- Go to https://www.ieaddons.com/en/createsearch.aspx
- In the URL field, enter ‘https://www.bing.com/search?q=TEST’
- Specify a name, something like ‘Bing’
- Click on ‘Install Search Provider’
If you are running Firefox:
- Go to Firefox Add-on’s page and search for Bing Search Provider (OR)
- Go to - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10434
- Click ‘ Download Now’
- Accept – Install and you are ready to go!
That’s it! You’re now set to make decisions faster and smarter!
Happy Bing’ing!
Update:
Thanks to our MVP, Blake Handler – here’s an update:
You don't need to add Bing manually . . .
