Apps for Office Teams Chosen!
Today I'm very pleased to announce the five teams who are advancing to Round Two of the Apps for Office Challenge. These students wrote great proposals that impressed our judges on the Microsoft Office team and all five teams will now develop their projects further. At the end of Round Two, two of these teams will be selected as finalists and flown to Seattle for the Imagine Cup World Finals in late July, 2014.
The teams advancing to Round Two are:
iGeek (China) | Education Toolkit for Office |
NeangTeam (Indonesia) | Exam Management |
Ambiless (China) | SemanticCut |
Lake of Timber (Canada) | Muusika |
CodeBlue (India) | Molecule Maker |
Judging the many excellent proposals we received took longer than expected and I apologize for the delay. It was a difficult task to review so much great work, but the Office team is very excited to move forward with these projects and hopefully see them all in the Apps for Office Store!

I thought you were supposed to select 20 teams !- Anonymous

Nope! We set out in the rules that we'd select between 1 and 20 teams. In the end the decision was a combination of which projects scored the highest and how many we believed we could support during their development process.

Hello there!I wonder what specific content should we include in the zip file? For the app to run perfectly the vs project alone may not be enough,How can we ensure we get to present our app in the best way possible?
