Windows Home Server is announced

This one has been kept really under wraps (even most people within Microsoft didn't know anything concrete about it until last week) but it was announced yesterday at CES in Las Vegas.

Looks like an interesting consumer release for later this year - and a nice way for ITPro's to backup all our PCs and laptops without having to think about it :-)
