It’s Not That Important
We have all been there, your driving, you hear your cell phone ring, ding or beep, trust me it is not that important and here is why (please take a minute to read the article):
It is probably like hundreds of other similar stories you have seen. You probably are wondering why this article, made me wake up to my stupidity of using my cell phone in the car. There are a few things you need to know.
The man with the infant is my friend
He loved his son
His son’s name is Grayson Paul Earl Jett
His son is now gone.
All I ask, is two things please:
- Send your prayers and thoughts for my friend and his family, they are going to need all the support we can offer.
- When you are in car whether it is a quick trip to the store or on a long road trip, leave the phone off, there is nothing more important than a life.
I know I will.
[UPDATE]: Due to the unexpected loss of Grayson, there is an has been an on-line memorial fund created to help offset medical and funeral expenses.

Matt, Sorry to hear this and it is indeed a reminder that we all need to focus on the task at hand, especially when someone's life is at stake. I can't imagine the pain that your friend is suffering. Our prayers go out to him and his family. KaiAnonymous

Matt, this is horrible news. Such a tragedy. It's hard to look at the picture of that little guy... so cute, and now he's dead. It may be a bit inappropriate to go into this right now, but as a parent myself of a young child, I must ask some questions. In some accidents, there's nothing you can do. You could walk outside and get hit by a bus. But what about this type of collision... Was the child front facing or rear facing? The family vehicle appears to be a small SUV, what type was it? Was he securely positioned in the car seat? Was he ejected? Again, I know this may be bad timing, but if you could share anything information, I'm sure it would be helpful.Anonymous
