MEDC 2006 Kuala Lumpur DONE!

 

With great fanfare and flawless execution, the MEDC Kuala Lumpur keynote and event was delivered today to a throng of over 900 developers and IT Professionals. Keynote was led by Tony Mestres, General Manager of the Windows Mobile Operator business and Mike and I as demo dollys. Our demos went great and drew laughs from the crowd, especially Mike and his jokes. The WEPOS demo of the Tongkat Ali root was the highlight.

 

Thanks to our sponsors especially O2, HP, Dopod and others, the booths were a huge success, drawing a huge crowd interested in obtaining new and cool Windows Mobile devices.

 

After the keynote was done with, attendees get to sample over 15 breakout sessions across 3 tracks - Windows Mobile, Windows Embedded and IT Pro and even get to play around with actual devices at the Hands-on labs.

 

  

The event culminated in an exciting SumoRobot competition where 8 teams pitted their coding and algorithm writing prowess against each other for the top prize of a new HP Windows Mobile device.

Thanks to all the local attendees who made this event what it is today, the logistics team which did a FANTASTIC job at organizing this event for us and of course, all the speakers locally and from Redmond.
