Microsoft announced licensing and pricing updates for the
upcoming release of Windows Server 2012. With the simplified licensing
structure and more than 300 new and enhanced features, Windows Server 2012 is
set for a successful launch to customers worldwide later this year. Make sure
you are ready to go by taking advantage of these learning opportunities: 

  • Bookmark the Windows Server 2012 Learning Track, which is now
    busting at the seams with new licensing, business, sales, and technical
    training—more than 35 new courses added in the last two weeks!
  • Look for upcoming sales/licensing roadshows and technical bootcamps
    coming to your area. These events will begin in July and run through early fall
    and will help you learn about all aspects of the product release from value
    proposition through hands-on technical training.

40006A – Hands On Lab: Windows Server® 2012.

This HOL compliments the First Look Clinic (40005A)
that we released earlier this month and is one of the first few learning
products from Microsoft Learning on the Windows Server 2012. This Hands On Lab
is built on the Windows Server 2012 Consumer Preview (Beta release) software
and will cover some of the key new features and functionality in Windows Server
2012. It will cover Management features such as Server Manager, Windows
PowerShell, Server Core, Active Directory, IP Address Management (IPAM) and
Dynamic Access Control. It will also cover some of the significant changes that
have taken place in Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012.
