New Life

My wife Jennifer and I are proud to announce the birth of our first child:

 

Kiera Elizabeth Parnell

 

Kiera joined us on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 6:27PM at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA.

 

Kiera Facts

8lbs 14oz at birth

21.5 inches long

13in diameter head

4 1/2 hour delivery

perfect hearing

blue eyes

dark hair, blonde lashes

1st granchild on both sides

first music: Tristan and Isolde

first movie: Spies Like Us

first book (partial): Smart Mobs

has met all of her grandparents, aunts, and uncles :-)

 

Kiera is resting at home with her mother, modestly avoiding cameras, and storing up nutrients up for a long and healthy life.

  Congratulations! It will be a long interesting journey ahead, but while you may not love every single minute of it (flashback to really terrible BM dipers<g>), if you are like me, 24 years later you will wonder where the time flew!

  1) Have the clean diaper ready to go on before you take the dirty one off; and
