  Two questions: Are there any special requirements for Windows 8 for it to function well? It looks like I am going to be buying a new laptop to replace my old one. I assume that you still like Lenovo laptops. What is your favorite model? Thanks Linda

  Linda, I have not reviewed the hardware requirements for Windows 8. I am waiting for the RTM like everyone else, and the final documentation. As for the Lenovo laptops, I already have a portable workstations so I am looking for a light travel machine next to replace my T61p.  I hope to be able to test the ThinkPad X1 Carbon soon. From what I've seen so far, it looks like it might be a nice machine but the finals specifications and price have not been released.
