Training: Failover Clustering & Hyper-V: Planning your Highly Available Virtualization Environment!

ugss

One of my colleagues; Symon Perriman is running a workshop on Hyper-V and Failover Clustering in collaboration with our User Group Support Services. If you are a user group leader the content is designed so you can redeliver the training to your user group at a later time or to customers as you see fit. If you just want to learn about these technologies it works as a good introduction.

The training will cover a range of beginner (Level 200) to intermediate (Level 300) themes related to Windows Server 2008 R2 Failover Clustering, Hyper-V and System Centre Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 & 2012. Topics include:

  • Clustering Basics
  • Guest Clustering & Host Clustering
  • Deployment & Validation
  • Optimizing for Hyper-V
  • Datacentre Management with SCVMM

This will be presented live at two times so anyone around the world can join during their day. The training will run for 90 minutes from 8am – 9:30am PST and again at 6pm – 7:30pm PST on Thursday, July 14th.

To sign up, simply visit https://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22CJ93QZY26, complete the survey, and pick the time that you wish to attend.
