Vodafone reduces data costs
Vodafone last week took a decision to reduce it's monthly data tariff for datacards from 30 pounds to 15 pounds a month which brings it in line with other UK mobile operators.
It is too late to help this poor guy out who managed to rack up a 27,000 pound bill ($54k) download TV Shows to his laptop on his supposedly unlimited data plan...

Unfortunately vodafone are still limiting you to 120MB of data for that... At least T-Mobile have a decent limit of 1/3/10GB depending on the plan and 3 even have better data rates per MB than vodafone. Where I work got stung with an £850 bill from vodafone for using it as a business contingency when we moved office and the ADSL wasn't in yet. We only shifted the odd bit of e-mail over it - that 850 covered two days and just 350MB of data. It was worth it for the business but I don't think they'll use vodafone next time.
