Microsoft to acquire Danger
Today we announced that we will enter into an agreement to acquire Danger Inc. If you aren't familiar with Danger - they are the company behind the very popular T-Mobile sidekick.

What does this acquisition say about confidence in Windows Mobile being able to deliver software that consumers want? It seems like this is a reaction to Android and other various custom UI products with Linux and other operating systems.Anonymous

Jason, Presumably this means that Microsoft will be producing (or at least have the option to produce) its own Windows Mobile devices as it now has the design and manufacturing facilities to do so? Cheers, Rob Knight.
