Vista After Hours in Newcastle

Matt and I have just finished the event in Newcastle we had a great time doing the event and there was plenty of interest in Home Server, Media Center and SideShow.  Thanks to all who came along we really enjoyed presenting here - the people are really friendly.  It was fantastic to hear about some stories of how people are using Media Center, SideShow et al in their business and for customers - if you're doing cool stuff like this I'd love to hear from you - get in touch via the comments section or contact me.

One of the questions we received by the magic of text was about upgrading from one version of Vista to another.  My memory failed me unfortunately but I did a quick search on my blog and you can use something call Windows Vista Anytime Upgrade to move up through the versions if you get the wrong one.  I've written a blog post on Anytime Upgrade here so be sure to take a look if this applies to you.

Hi Michael/Pete/Daryl Glad you enjoyed the show - I'm trying to persuade management to let us out more often :-) I'll announce anything here on this blog. Cheers James

I really enjoyed the after hours event at Newcastle. You have got to come back sometime! PS. It was my mate who wiped the floor with Matt on Guitar Hero! Wow.
