Blogging using Silverlight and JetFuel plugin for Live Writer

I'm now down with the Silverlight video publishing thanks to the excellent Live Writer plugin from James E Clarke called JetFuel.  This plugin allows you to select a video, automatically encode it using Expression Media Encoder and then upload it to the Silverlight Streaming service. 

As I am typing this the video is actually transcoding on the fly, so I can shape my words to this post as Media Encoder does its magic - smooth!

Once the transcoding has been done, it zips up the files and sends them off to Silverlight streaming so that people can stream my work.  In this case it was a funny outtake of HPC manager Ryan Waite talks about how my boss Steve Clayton can be used as an example for super computing :-)

For those who don't know, Live Writer is a cool blogging app from Microsoft which is currently in Beta 2.  It's well worth investigating if you blog frequently because it allows you to be much more streamlined with your posting.  The Live Writer has a blog here, which is quite useful too.
