Code2Fame

In addition to the great partner news, yesterday at WinHEC we also announced the Code2Fame Challenge.  If you're a 'maker,' this is a chance to showcase your Home Server add-ins and potentially win fame and fortune.  Have a great idea for a Windows service for Home Server...or a web or client app?  How about a hardware device that will work directly with WHS?  Check out the site for details and how to enter.

Ever since we rolled out the public beta (actually, before) we've been seeing and hearing a lot about add-in apps and hardware components for Home Server.  When we made the SDK available, the activity picked up even more.  So, we thought it made sense to create a contest to highlight some of the best add-ins. Nothing like a little competition and incentive to spice things up.  This should be interesting...

  Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous that you're not including an OEM home server in the prize package, what a missed opportunity.
