This should come with some kind of mood altering substance

Your mailbox is almost full.

Please reduce your mailbox size. Delete any items you don't need from your mailbox and empty your Deleted Items folder. Your total mailbox capacity, shown above, refers to the limit at which you will no longer be able to send and receive mail...(redacted)

Uh-oh.

Maybe your mailbox wouldn't be so full if the system didn't keep clogging it with reminders about your mailbox usage! Good luck.

Reminds me of the old adage...1 GIG of hard drive space: less than $1. Three hours of the manager's time cleaning up their mailbox:$500. Making it appear to customers as if your key staff have quit: priceless. I thought this problem had gone away years ago. I know many people who have thousands, if not ten's of thousands of messages taking up multiple GB of space. Our mailboxes have become the de facto storage place for everything so why would you be asked to delete it? Kind of like saying your brain is nearly full, remove some thoughts or will stop you from thinking. So very 1990's!

Yeah, I think that a big part of the problem is that people send out mail with huge attachments to a ton of people. All they have to do is post the document somewhere and link to it. Honestly, I just don't think that they are thinking about it. You know a few years ago, my personal campaign was about not being invited to meetings where I was not necessary. This thing with the huge attachments might be my new one. People just need to hink about what they are doing.
