New online map - Community Technology Skill Centres
This month Microsoft Australia launched a new online map which identifies Community Technology Skill Centres by postcode. The map uses Microsoft Virtual Earth technology. Microsoft Australia supports more than 200 Centres as part of its Community Technology Skills Program. The program promotes workforce development and IT skills training that enable young people and adults realise their potential through: software donations; technology solutions; and specialised curriculum. |
In Australia, Microsoft partners with WorkVentures, The Smith Family, Yarnteen and The Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association.
The new online map is available to everyone including non-government organisations, community groups, and State and Federal politicians wishing to know centres located in their electorates.
