Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 Update Released!

The Virtual Server team has just released an update for Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1. (Link)  This update brings in many bug fixes along with support for new Host and Guest operating systems including Windows XP SP3, Vista SP1, and Server 2008!

Along with the new Guest and Host operating systems, bug fixes have also been included to allow proper unplugging of a VHD in Windows XP. With this fix, Shiv’s previous article on how to Deloy an XPe Image directly into a VHD will now work properly in Windows XP.

Follow the installation instructions that are mentioned in Shiv’s Article, and then install the update from here.
