This is fun!
Today we had our first PM Offsite event, sponsored by our new leader. It is very exciting to see how much the PM team has grown since I joined in 2006 (note the halo above the team).
The purpose of the event is for PMs to stop their busy day jobs and use our current products, feel the pain of the customer and learn some new technology related to the embedded business.
In the first half of the day we built a bootable USB key under instructions of Punit Java who joined our team earlier this year.
We learned from the best about building a Win CE image in 1 hour.
This is just amazing, isn’t it!
After lunch, yummy Indian food, Chris Muench gave us a very passionate outline of the Industrial Automation market.
Sarah Ali gave us a great 30 minute overview of… oops, sorry “secret stuff” and Shabnam showed us how to build the “secret stuff”.
This was followed by building even more “secret stuff” under guidance from Luca Amapane.
I had a lot of fun, even if I now have 94 unread emails in my inbox!
