Meet the XPe MVPs

The 2005 Global MVP Summit is in full swing today and continues tomorrow.

I've been meeting with the Embedded MVPs for XPe today while various teams from Windows and Mobile Embedded Division present the latest products (released and unreleased!). While most of the presentations revolve around Embedded products, solutions and the roadmap for our team the next 2 years, they're also getting a taste of what's coming in Vista client like the Avalon presentation we're all sitting through now.

Besides meeting up with some 'old timers' that I've been interacting with for years like Sean Liming, Jim Morrow, John Vorchak, Gordan Smith and Alexander Wechsler, I finally got to meet Slobodan Brčinn and prove once and for all that he is in fact not an AI process running 24x7 on a supercomputer. If you know of Slobodan and his penchant for never going to sleep while *living* in the newsgroups and always being on IM and having answers to deep technical problems, then you know what i'm talking about. <grin>

More presentations tomorrow, then a BBQ on the ballfield and some social time together to talk shop.
