MEDC 2007 - Call For Papers!

It's already time to start thinking about MEDC 2007, especially if you are interested in presenting a session or two!  The XP Embedded team invites you to submit proposals to speak in the conference breakout sessions. We're looking for experienced conference presenters who have built and deployed XP Embedded devices and who can share their best practices and tips and tricks with all of us. This year, "EXP" will denote the XP Embedded track, which falls under the general category   "Building Embedded Devices". Some areas that we would be interested in receiving submissions for would be:

o Explain the end-to-end embedded lifecycle - configure, build, debug, test, deploy, maintain/update

o Use XPe to develop innovative devices and solutions to change people’s life

o Show "How To" use tools and technologies to build compelling devices and experiences

o Tips and tricks to increase developer productivity

o Knowledge exchange to build a better community and spark innovation

o Sharing the Enterprise best practices and their implementation

Of course, this list is not exhaustive, but more like a guide to give some idea of the kinds of topics that would be interesting to the developers attending the conference.

MEDC is one of Microsoft's most important annual technical training events, and our speaker selection process is extremely rigorous to ensure that attendees experience outstanding quality technical training. The number of sessions with external speakers will be limited to 30% of the total number of sessions. For a look at last year’s event, visit medc2006.com.

Please submit breakout session ideas for 75 minute sessions in the following topic areas by December 8, 2006. Session submissions can be made through the Call For Papers website (https://medc2007.mscorpevents.com/CFP/CallForPapers.aspx). Acceptance of any session is entirely at Microsoft's discretion. Full terms and conditions are on the Call For Papers website.

The MEDC 2007 event will run from April 30-May 3 at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

Hope to see you on stage at the event!
