Office 2007 Service Pack 1 Released today!
Wow this is exciting, Office 2007 SP1 was just released today! Check it out here:
The OneNote 2007 SP1 update is found in this update so once you update all of Office it will include OneNote as well. I have been using SP1 for a few weeks now and it has been great, I haven't had any problems with this and I would highly recommend it for all users!
Some notable updates in OneNote:
- The screen clipping problem where OneNote would grab the wrong IE tab address.
- OneNote Access Denied errors on SharePoint (also related to this: Access denied in OneNote shared notebooks on SharePoint)
- Crashing bugs, using Watson information we are able to see what causes the most crashes in OneNote and we fix the bugs that will help the most users
- And more!
There were no file format changes in OneNote 2007 SP1 and additionally no new features like what you saw in OneNote 2003 SP1, this was just a bug fix service pack.
You can get a more complete description of SP1, including a list of issues that were fixed, in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 936982: Description of the 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 1. Also for your other favourite Office applications:
