Friday aka Weekend

Yes I'm at work. No I'm not supposed to be: it is weekend!

Weekends in the middle east typically run Friday to Saturday, with the business week running Sunday to Thursday.

From experience I know this to be true for the UAE and Egypt. From what I hear also for Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Yemen and Saudi Arabia. To my surprise, not true for Turkey.
