Activate Copilot for commerce
Before you can use Copilot for Commerce, you need to ensure that you meet certain prerequisites:
Your environment must be a cloud-deployed environment because this functionality isn't supported in cloud-hosted development environments.
You need to activate Microsoft Power Platform integration in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lifecycle Services. For more information, see Enable Power Platform Integration.
Turn on the Sql row version change tracking license key
To install Copilot in the Power Platform admin center, you need to ensure that your organization has the Sql row version change tracking license configuration key turned on. To do so, follow these steps:
Go to System administration > Setup > License configuration.
Select the Configuration keys tab and then find Sql row version change tracking in the list. If the Sql row version change tracking configuration key is already turned on, then you can skip the rest of this procedure.
If the Sql row version change tracking configuration key isn't turned on, you must turn on maintenance mode for your environment. For more information, see Maintenance mode.
When your environment is in maintenance mode, return to the License configuration page and select Sql row version change tracking to turn on the feature.
After you turn on the feature, you can turn off maintenance mode.
Activate Microsoft Power Platform to publish copilots with AI features
The next step to successfully activate Copilot for Commerce is to turn on Microsoft Power Platform to publish copilots with AI features. To do so, follow these steps:
Open the Power Platform admin center..
Select Settings from the navigation pane.
In the list, locate and select Publish Copilots with AI features.
Select the Disabled toggle to turn on the feature. The toggle now shows as Enabled.
Select Save to save the configuration.
