Configure IGMP router settings

To configure IGMP router settings

Open Routing and Remote Access.
In the console tree, click IGMP.

- Routing and Remote Access/server name/IP Routing/IGMP
In the details pane, right-click the interface you want to configure, and then click Properties.
Click the Router tab, and then configure the appropriate settings.

To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group. As a security best practice, consider using the Run As command rather than logging on with administrative credentials. If you have logged on with administrative credentials, you can also open Routing and Remote Access by clicking Start, clicking Control Panel, double-clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Routing and Remote Access. Typically, you do not need to modify the default IGMP router settings. You should only modify these settings after you have made a careful analysis of your network.
Items on the Router tab are available only if IGMP router mode is enabled on the selected interface.
By default, IGMP protocol version 3 is selected. To change the IGMP protocol version, select a different version when configuring a new interface for IGMP, or change the version an interface uses by right-clicking the interface and selecting Properties.
