String.replicate Function (F#)

Returns a string by concatenating a specified number of instances of a string.

String.replicate : int -> string -> string

// Usage:
String.replicate count str

Parameters

  • count
    Type: int

    The number of copies of the input string will be copied.

  • str
    Type: string

    The input string.

Thrown when the input string is null.

Return Value

The concatenated string.

Remarks

This function is named Replicate in compiled assemblies. If you are accessing the function from a language other than F#, or through reflection, use this name.
