How to: Synchronize Deployment Diagrams with Logical Datacenter Diagrams
At times, the layout of the deployment diagram might become unsynchronized with its associated logical datacenter diagram. This can occur under the following conditions:
The deployment diagram is closed when changes are made to the underlying logical datacenter diagram.
Placement of servers and zones on the deployment diagram does not align with the placement shown on the logical datacenter diagram.
The logical datacenter diagram associated with the deployment diagram is renamed.
When the deployment diagram is unsynchronized, you might see orphaned shapes, notice missing shapes, or see a layout that is different from the logical datacenter diagram.
To synchronize the deployment diagram with the logical datacenter diagram
Click the deployment diagram surface to select it.
On the Diagram menu, choose Synchronize with Datacenter.
Tip
You can also right-click the deployment diagram surface and choose Synchronize with Datacenter.
