How to: Specify Optional Members in Application Systems
In System Designer, you can specify that applications or systems within a system definition are optional or required when an instance of the system definition is deployed.
To specify an application or system as optional or required
On the diagram, select the application or system you want.
On the Diagram menu, choose Properties.
In the Properties window, set the Required property to one of the following:
True to specify required installation. (Default)
False to specify optional installation.
Tip
You can also right-click the application or system and choose Properties. For more information about the Properties window, see Properties Window.
