Process Template Manager
Process templates are stored on a Team Foundation server. When a new team project is created, the New Team Project Wizard retrieves the list of process templates from the Team Foundation server, and then you must select one. You can control which process templates are available on a Team Foundation server, and therefore which process templates are available when new team projects are created on that Team Foundation server.
Use the Process Template Manager in Team Explorer to manage process templates. By using the Process Template Manager, you can upload, download, delete, and create default process templates.
If you want to customize process templates, you must use the Process Template Manager. You must download a process template to get a copy of its source files. After you customize the process template, you must upload the new version back to the Team Foundation server. Additionally, you must delete the old process template if the process is no longer required.
For complete information about customizing process templates, see Customizing Process Templates.
