How to: Set Plug-in Options
Depending upon how you manage source-controlled items, you will want to change some of the default source control options before you use the database. These options are available through the Options setting on the Tools menu of Visual Studio.
Note
See the documentation for the source control plug-in for a complete list of database-level and advanced options, and instructions about how to set them.
To set plug-in options
In Visual Studio, on the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, expand Source Control, click Plug-in Selection, make sure that your plug-in is indicated, and then click OK.
In the Options dialog box, select Environment.
In the Source Control Environment Settings box, select the role on which you want to set source control options. Visual Studio automatically selects the default source control options for the role you have selected. If you clear any one of the default options, the Source Control Environment Settings box displays the Custom option to indicate that you have customized the originally selected profile.
Customize the profile by selecting or clearing the source control options.
Click OK.
Click Plug-in Settings in the Options dialog box.
On this tab, you can make plug-in settings for each role. Clicking Advanced allows for access to advanced settings for the particular role you are defining.
When finished with all plug-in settings, click OK to exit the Options dialog box.
