RibbonComponent.SuspendLayout Method (2007 System)
Prevents the Microsoft Office application from refreshing the state of controls on the Ribbon.

Remarks
Calling SuspendLayout may result in a slight performance increase if your application has many controls that are frequently updated.
After you change the state of each control, you can call ResumeLayout to allow the UI to be refreshed.
