IOperationalDataManagement.GetMonitoringAlertsCount Method (MonitoringAlertCriteria, ManagementPackClass, TraversalDepth)

Retrieves the number of MonitoringAlert objects for the specified scope that match the specified filter, with the option to include instances of derived classes.

Parameters

• criteria
  The criteria that are used to filter out the returned monitoring alerts.

• managementPackClass
  The monitoring class, with all its derived classes, that defines the range of the returned results.

• traversalDepth
  A value that modifies the limits of the monitoringClass parameter. A value of OneLevel includes only instances of the specified class in the scope of the returned results. A value of Recursive includes instances of the specified class and all instances that are contained by those instances.

Return Value

Returns a Int32 that represents the number of selected MonitoringAlert objects.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
