How to Run a Management Pack Task
Applies To: Operations Manager 2007 R2, Operations Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Operations Manager 2007
Management Packs include tasks that perform useful commands on the items that the Management Pack is designed to monitor and manage. The Operations Manager class libraries allow you to programmatically launch a task that is defined in an installed Management Pack. When you launch the task, you can control both the criteria that are used to determine the targets of the task and the handling of the results that are returned when the task is complete.
