Toolbar (Partitions Tab, Cube Designer) (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data)

Use the Toolbar pane to perform common actions on the Partitions tab in Cube Designer.

Options

Option	Description
Add Business Intelligence	Click to display the Business Intelligence Wizard and add business intelligence features to the cube. For more information about the Business Intelligence Wizard, see Business Intelligence Wizard F1 Help.
Process	Click to display the Process dialog box and process the selected measure group or partition. For more information about the Process dialog box, see Process Dialog Box (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data).
New Partition	Click to display the Partition Wizard and create a new partition in the selected measure group. For more information about the Partition Wizard, see Partition Wizard F1 Help (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data).
Rename	Click to rename the selected partition. [!UWAGA] This option is enabled only if any cell of a partition is selected in the Partitions grid of a measure group in the Measure Groups pane.
Delete	Click to display the Delete Objects dialog box and delete the selected action. For more information about the Delete Objects dialog box, see Delete Objects Dialog Box (SSAS). [!UWAGA] This option is enabled only if the entire row of a partition is selected in the Partitions grid of a measure group in the Measure Groups pane. [!UWAGA] This option is disabled if a writeback partition is selected.
Design Aggregations	Click to display the Aggregation Design Wizard and create an aggregation design for the selected partition. For more information about the Aggregation Design Wizard, see Aggregation Design Wizard F1 Help. [!UWAGA] This option is enabled only if any cell of a partition is selected in the Partitions grid of a measure group in the Measure Groups pane. [!UWAGA] This option is disabled if a writeback partition is selected.
Usage Based Optimization	Click to display the Usage-Based Optimization Wizard and create an aggregation design based on existing usage patterns for the selected partition. For more information about the Usage-Based Optimization Wizard, see Usage-Based Optimization Wizard F1 Help. [!UWAGA] This option is enabled only if any cell of a partition is selected in the Partitions grid of a measure group in the Measure Groups pane. [!UWAGA] This option is disabled if a writeback partition is selected.
Storage Settings	Click to display the Storage Settings dialog box and specify storage mode, proactive caching, and notification settings for the selected partition. For more information about the Storage Settings dialog box, see Storage Settings Dialog Box (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data). [!UWAGA] This option is enabled only if any cell of a partition is selected in the Partitions grid of a measure group in the Measure Groups pane.
