Settings.DefaultLog Property

Gets or sets the default log file directory for the instance of Microsoft SQL Server.

Property Value

A String value that specifies the default log file directory for the instance of SQL Server.

Remarks

Updated text:

The default log file directory is where the log files are stored on the instance of SQL Server unless otherwise specified in the FileName property. This directory contains the .ldf transaction log files. This is set to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data by default.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
