Partitions (Cube Designer) (SSAS)

Use the Partitions tab in Cube Designer to create and modify partitions, including storage, proactive caching, and writeback settings, for each measure group in the cube.

The Partitions tab contains the following panes:

Panes

• Toolbar
  Use the toolbar to perform common actions on the tab. For more information about this pane, see Toolbar (Partitions Tab, Cube Designer) (SSAS).

• Measure Groups
  Use the Measure Groups pane to create and modify partitions for each measure group in the cube. For more information about this pane, see Measure Groups (Partitions Tab, Cube Designer) (SSAS).
