Search Dialog Box (Report Builder)
Use the Search dialog box to locate a field within the currently selected entity or within the entire data source. To search for a field, enter the field name in the Search text text box, select a Search option, and then click Find. Wildcard search characters, for example * or ?, are not supported.
Options
- Search text
Enter the name or part of the name of the item for which you want to search, and then click Find. .
- Current item only
Choose this option to search within the currently selected entity or folder.
- Entire data source
Choose this option to search the entire data source.
- Search results
Displays the results of your search.
- Name
Displays the name of the field.
- Location
Displays the path you need to follow in order to select the item. Double-click the item to go there directly.
To go to the item for which you are searching, select the item in the SearchResults list and then click OK.
