The Database Properties - General dialog box in Server Explorer in Visual Studio lets you see properties for existing SQL Server Compact SP1 databases.

Options

Case Sensitive

Displays the collation setting for case sensitivity.

Encryption Mode

Displays the method of encryption used to secure the data file.

Locale

Displays the locale specified by the database collation setting.

Creation Date

Displays the date and time that the database was created.

Name

Displays the name and location of the database.

Size

Displays the size of the database.

Space Available

Displays the space that is available in the database.
