Edit a user

After a user is added to the system, you can edit the display name or e-mail address for the user.

Note

You cannot edit the User ID value.

To edit user data

  1. On the Users page, click Find to show all users. To filter the list of users, type search criteria, and then click Find. A table of users appears below the Find button.

  2. In the Display Name column, click the user whose data that you want to edit. The Edit User dialog box opens.

  3. Edit the display name or e-mail address, as follows:

    • In the Display name box, specify how you want the name of the user to appear. Note that a value is required for Display name.

    • In the E-mail address box, type the e-mail address of the user. This address is used for assignment notifications.

  4. Click Save.
