Configurable User Account Settings

Some user account settings that have global settings require you to configure the global settings before you configure settings on specific user accounts. The following table describes which methods can be used to configure each of the specific user settings, as well as the global configuration requirements.

Archiving |

Meeting policy |
Enforces a meeting policy for an Office Communications Server 2007 R2 user who is allowed to organize meetings. The policy specifies aspects of meetings that the organizer can create. The policy name is used to specify which meeting policy to apply. |

Enables or disables enhanced presence, which enables users to control their presence with more granularity. Enhanced presence is disabled for users who moved from Live Communications Server 2005 to Office Communications Server 2007 R2, because Live Communications Server 2005 uses legacy presence. |
