Installation and Use of Administrative Tools

Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 will reach end of support on January 9, 2018. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.

You can install and use the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 administrative tools on any computer in the domain that meets the administrative tools prerequisites, such as on a computer that you use as a central administrative console. Note

Installation and use of Office Communications Server requires that users be members of specific groups. For details about providing appropriate permissions and delegation, see Accounts and Permissions Requirements in the Planning and Architecture documentation.
