DataLakePathClient.SetPermissions Method

Definition

The SetPermissions(PathPermissions, String, String, DataLakeRequestConditions, CancellationToken) operation sets the file permissions on a path.

Parameters

permissions
PathPermissions

The POSIX access permissions for the file owner, the file owning group, and others.

owner
String

The owner of the file or directory.

group
String

The owning group of the file or directory.

conditions
DataLakeRequestConditions

Optional DataLakeRequestConditions to add conditions on setting the the path's access control.

cancellationToken
CancellationToken

Optional CancellationToken to propagate notifications that the operation should be cancelled.

Returns

A Response<T> describing the updated path.

Remarks

A RequestFailedException will be thrown if a failure occurs.
