Get your App-V Package Accelerators here
These Microsoft App-V Package Accelerators help you quickly and easily create an App-V virtual application package for various software packages, all by simply clicking through a Wizard and answering a couple questions. By following the Wizard in the App-V 4.6 SP1 Sequencer, you can easily sequence a new package by using these Package Accelerators.
Package Accelerators feature:
- Easy to follow instructions
- Repeatable deterministic App-V Package Creation
- No complex Prescriptive Guidance to follow
Basically if you can follow the Wizard then you can sequence these packages.
We have some available in the Download Center here:

We also have a couple more, including one for Office 2010 that allows you to easily create an App-V package for Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 at the following TechNet Gallery site:
* Note: This may get missed by folks who download the Office 2010 Package Accelerator so please be aware of this issue and solution. From the Q & A section on that site:
Please don’t forget to delete all instances of “~” from the OSD files in this package. The Accelerator adds a “~” to the SFT_MNT variable, which will cause the package created by the accelerator to fail.
Also note that you need to be on App-V 4.6 Service Pack 1 for these to work so if you haven’t upgraded yet then this is just another reason to get that done.
