Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 / Dynamics NAV 5.0 Business Analytics Configurator for Microsoft Windows 64-Bit Architecture

Since the release of Intel and AMD multi-core processors it has become increasingly affordable for small and mid-sized businesses utilizing Dynamics NAV to harness the power of the 64-bit architecture for their Business Intelligence needs through Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Analytics. This has revealed a problem with the current Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3/Dynamics NAV 5.0 - SQL 2005 configurator (available on PartnerSource).

The issue is that when attempting to import the FIN.FLF license through the new configurator to initiate the Business Analytics Advance offering on a 64-Bit Windows, you would get the error "BA Advanced has wrong version."

The product team has released a new configurator to resolve this Business Analytics configurator 64-bit architecture incompatibility issue. Please review the KB article id 943150 on PartnerSource >> Knowledge Base or the direct link below to read more about it:

https://mbs.microsoft.com/knowledgebase/KBDisplay.aspx?WTNTZSMNWUKNTMMYVLXUZLWUKKQPOVRVKULWTSLNNOSUXPOTXVUYNPKUZPXQYQRU

To resolve this issue please create a Support Request through PartnerSouce >> Support >> New Support Request and request the new configurator as stated in this KB article. The Support Request will be free of charge. This configurator is not available for public download because it is intended to resolve this specific issue. I would personally not recommend that you run this configurator on the 32-Bit environment.
