Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 - Availability, Downloads, and Documentation.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 went RTM (Released to Manufacture) on December 17th 2007.
So where can you download it from, if you can’t wait for the availability of the media and want to take a look at it now?
Each of these components can be downloaded from these locations :-
Title | Download | Readme |
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Server - Trial Version * | Download | Readme |
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Client for Outlook (For On-Premise and Hosted Editions) | Download | Readme |
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 E-mail Router (On Premise and Hosted Editions) | Download | Readme |
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Data Migration Manager | Download | Readme |
*If you attempt to install the trial version to an environment without an Internet Connection, then you will run into the same problem that I did with the C++ Redistributable Package. Philip Richardson, Microsoft CRM Lead Program Manager, has created a post, on his own blog, that explains how to overcome this, here.
Additional Documentation :-

Shortly those of you with MSDN subscriptions should also be able to download the disk image (ISO) to use with your MSDN license keys. I will be monitoring the site and will post as soon as this is available.
I will also post as soon as I am aware that the media is being shipped in the UK.
Regards,
Iain McDonald.
