Device Solutions v3.0 Firmware Available Now

Device Solutions is the first to release RTM firmware bits for V3.0! Only hours after the official launch announcement at ESC Boston Device Solutions announced the release of the RTM firmware for the TAHOE hardware platform (including a release supporting Ethernet)

In addition to the new firmware Device Solutions announced they will make a Board Support Package (BSP) available for use with the .NET Micro Framework porting kit. The BSP will allow anyone with the porting kit to to create fully customized builds of the .NET micro Framework targeted to the Meridian CPUs and Tahoe hardware platform. With the Porting kit and the BSP you can implement Your own Interop support to access hardware or accelerate complex operations etc... This is great news and I hope this marks a new trend for hardware vendors. Congratulations to the folks at Device Solutions who worked hard to get this release ready for a near simultaneous launch with the .NET Micro Framework itself!
