Sliverlight (nee WPF/E)

That's quite pretty.

Here's more on SilverLight, the technology formerly known as WPF/E.

"If you'd just shown that logo to me, I wouldn't have thought it was Microsoft."

That's pretty high praise, given who it came from...

I am really glad to see MS going back to cool product names. The logo is lovely too. Now if only WPF/e had a chance eh ;)

Excellent stuff, some great things there, would be cool get some XNA integration in there and make something like Ogame for PC/XBOX/Everything else :)

Paul - I haven't done any proper dev with it myself - am very eager for Mix07 to play with the bits we get from there.  (All the cool bits come then) :) Rob - Yeah, integration with other technologies would be ideal.  I really like the fact Silverlight is a subset of WPF. I suppose what you really want is an XNA app that can render WPF content - or ideally as much XAML as possible.  That's a highly non-trivial ask, but it would be wonderful for doing UIs in games, wouldn't it?
