Surface on .NET Rocks
Right after our PDC presentation, Doug and I got whisked away by Carl and Richard from .NET Rocks. We found an empty room somewhere and chatted for about an hour. It was a blast talking to them about all sorts of Surface-related topics past, present, and future. You can listen at https://www.dotnetrocks.com/default.aspx?showNum=389

we were promised a copy of the surface SDK post PDC. Unfortunately, due to an urgent meeting in Chicago, I had to leave LA on the 27th morning. I've been trying real hard to get a hold of the surface SDK. How do I get one?Anonymous

Hi acuis, we advertised that the SDK would be made avaiable to all attendees of our PDC session. We expanded this to also include anyone who participated in one of the Surface hands on labs. We're really interested in seeing how things go for developers who are working with our SDK without easy access to Surface hardware for learning the UX model and testing apps. Based on feedback from these initial folks, we'll evaluate the best way to expand further. The other thing to consider is actually ordering a developer Surface which comes with 5 SDK licenses. Order forms are on Surface.com now with a 10% discount running until November 14th.
